Widely distributed from the Auas Mountains in central South West Africa/Namibia but mainly from south-western areas of this country and locally common in Namaqualand and along the western Cape coast, through the Little Karoo and often in the mountains in the Great Karoo.
Caution as like all Tylecodon, this plant is poisonous and care should be taken around children and pets.
